Archpalatine Releases Single “Valentine’s Day”: A Love Song Rising From The Ashes of Old

Deep in the far reaches of the galaxy a baby with golden wings and a platinum quiver filled with heart seeking arrows listens to Archpalatine. His ears are bouncing with joy to the thumping beat of this new music. Archpalatine is in his studio creating sweet chocolatety music again. His computer’s inputs are filled with ethereal vocal takes. As the melodies start to form, Cupid tingles inside, the same feeling he gets when he sets hearts aflame in love with his piercing love arrows. He says to himself, “I think Archpalatine is calling for my help. His heart isn’t broken, but instead lonely.” As the beat thickens Cupid is set to the task - Shoot Archpalatine with a love arrow.

Archpalatine, Histrionic Cosmic Soul (genre) artist, feels a magical, colorful, effervescent presence around him. “Valentine’s Day is coming up”, he says, “maybe I’ll find love then. Love rain down on me!” And it did through song, this pop-bop, this soul-thump, this shot drop of passion, hope, and crystallized sugar.

This song is called “Valentine’s Day”, however it is purely a love song that speaks on the memory of an old feeling, not confined to the familiarity of the holiday. To Archpalatine, it is not the loss of love, but the loneliness due to lack, that calls his heart to song. But this loneliness is not the permeating feeling of “Valentine’s Day”. The hope that love again will come take over is the brightest light in the song. Written and Produced by Archpalatine, this song is short and very deliciously sweet. It oozes with the murmuring honey hum of the organ. It chimes with the quirky “what” quacks of the robot man that only listeners would know. The beat gum drops to the peppermint floor. They melt together like caramel in a musical candy bar with a red Valentine’s Day wrapping, waiting for the listeners ears to eat it up and get a sonic sugar rush.

Archpalatine hopes to help hope in love reign supreme again in the holiday and beyond, that where for many of us has been lost. “People have become afraid of love, and why?” “Is there anyone out there who can look through their broken heart, their loneliness, their baggage, their feelings of inadequacy and remember their infinite worthiness of love and all it’s miraculous happenings? Can we remember that teenage love affair? I think we can feel it again no matter what, and just watch, love will surprise you that way!”

Listen to “Valentine’s Day” and remember that warm soda-fizzing feeling again. If you bop at all, feeling the vibe, then Archpalatine’s job is complete, and Cupid hit his mark, and the good Lord above rained love down upon you. Isn’t it sweet! Unwrap that sugar puppy over and over again, listen and enjoy! Happy Palentine’s Day!

“Valentine’s Day” is brought to you by Archpalatine. Mixed and Mastered by John Palmer of Band Cave Studios. Thanks for listening. For more information please visit archpalatine.com. Find Archpalatine on all social media including TikTok and Instagram @archpalatine.

lyrics

Woke up in the morning
Feeling kind of down
Knowing it's another day when you are not around

Been three months already
Wondering if
I will ever see your face again
(I will ever see your face again)

But I know I will be okay
Maybe I'll find love on Valentine's Day

Thinking bout the time we
Stayed in Ocean City
Waves were crashing
We were laughing
Laying on the beach
(Laying on the beach)

Beautiful
You love's divine
Always in my heart and in my mind

But I know I will be okay
Sure love'll fine me on Valentine's Day

Maybe there's love Valentine's Day
Cupid shoot your arrow
Send it my way
Love rain down on my
I'm sick and tired of being lonely

But I know I will be okay
Maybe I'll find love on Valentine's Day
